How to Measure Your Body

For the most accurate results, use a soft, flexible measuring tape and hold it parallel to the floor over lightweight clothing:

• Height: Stand straight with feet together against a wall. Measure from the top of your head straight down to the floor.
• Bust / Chest: Wrap the tape around the fullest part of your chest or bust, keeping the tape snug but comfortable under your arms.
• Waist: Wrap the tape around your natural waistline, which is the narrowest part of your torso (typically just above the belly button).
• Hips: Stand with feet together and wrap the tape around the fullest, widest part of your hips and buttocks.
• Shoulder Width: Across your back, measure straight from the edge of one shoulder joint across to the edge of the opposite shoulder joint.

1. Allow Room for Comfort: Costumes require mobility for stage performances, conventions, or dancing. Leave a slight margin for ease of movement.
2. Between Sizes? If your body measurements fall between two standard sizes, we strongly recommend choosing the larger size for easier alterations or layering underneath.
3. Manual Measurement Tolerance: Due to the handcrafted nature of our garments, please allow a slight variance of 1–3 cm (0.4–1.2 inches) in sizing.
